Lupe van Crunch

by Inge Nilsson.

Lupe van Crunch

A little boy has gotten tired of playing in the sandbox and asks himself "What to do now?". Longingly he sees cars, with which adults can play, and departs. He brings his friends on the ride over mountains and valleys. The adventure turns dramatic the moment the car bumps across a potato field.

Imagine how interesting all things-to-do available only for grown-ups is to a child. This tale tells about a drive to the world of the big, back and forth. Perhaps it becomes a little scary when the car sinks and a large monster gobbles them, but all is well that ends well.

"Lupe van Crunch" is an exciting picture book with rhymes in which a child drives a car without permission and meets a monster. The book is richly illustrated in watercolours.
